Kittiwake House

Being upgraded from a small sea view apartment to the best one ever. Large first floor apartment with a huge bay window overlooking the sea. Apartment containing everything required … a home from home. Nothing to fault it. Would certainly recommend it and hope to return to 😉 Train station and bus station a short walk away. Port Erin’s a lovely town to visit and explore.

Not so much of a dislike … but the first time we’ve encountered a set up where electricity usage needs to be paid for. The electricity meter was in credit for £5.00 per day (a total of £20.00 for us, as we were booked for four nights). We didn’t exceed the total credit allocated to the apartment during are stay and thus no need to top up the meter. Just the first time we’ve encountered this whilst staying in booked up accommodation. No worries 😉

Fantastic location overlooking bay. Although the furnishings were basic, they were more than adequate for my needs. Instructions were clear and helpful.

Two minor issues: - the heating etc was on a meter (winter months) and although this had been more than adequately primed, I was uncertain about this on the first day of my visit - the parking is on the ”street"/promenade in front of the apartment, and although I had no trouble parking, I was out of season

Clean, quiet with amazing views of the sunsets

Great value for money and really nice location on the seafront with sea views. 2 large bedrooms and a kitchen which is very handy.

Nothing, but just to note it isn't a modern flat but wasn't a problem at all

Great location, very clean. Well equipped Public parking was great outside the property

The bathroom ceiling was low so the shower wasn’t easy to use
