WOW Apartment on Sutherland

The location was good, and 4 beds/3 bedrooms for the price was good value

The cupboards were coming off and showers dirty, no dishwasher was surprising. Shower head broken and sprayed everywhere and wouldn’t stand up, we messaged the property and fixed it but surprising it hadn’t been fixed previously. Photos a bit deceiving

Main bedroom very small, had to squeeze around the bed, no spare towels to use at the pool, no tea towels that I could find.

Extremely unclean in many areas of the unit. Furniture was dirty, floors were not clean and bathrooms dirty. Also a lack of products in bathrooms.

being charged a $500 bond Lots of damage in the kitchen to cupboards and trim Unit needed a paint. Plastic bags under the bed ,corrosion around the mirrors Shower leaked . Internet was poor , tv was small and rubbish reception , no access to facilities

The location was great, and to find a three bedroom apartment for six guests was awesome and saved us having to book two separate rooms. The customer service was responsive and polite regardless of not being particularly helpful.

I don’t think this apartment has ever been cleaned, and that’s not exaggeration. I’d be surprised if it were ever vacuumed, let alone mopped. Please check the photos. - There was visible dirt and dust all over the floors, and there was a spot around the couch that smelt a bit and when we lifted the corner of the rug there was a stain on the floor that looked and smelt a bit like sh*t - have attached a photo, please decide for yourself. - Our showers were dirty with mould and damp before we’d even used them, I asked customer service why the showers were damp if a cleaner had just been in and their response was that they’d remind the cleaner to dry them down next time…I don’t think they were cleaned at all and I think they were just still damp from the previous guest. - There were no top sheets on any of the beds, so unless the comforters are washed after every guest (which I doubt) that’s extremely unhygienic. - There were a ton of decorative cushions everywhere which also don’t typically get washed so I was honestly just grossed out the whole time because I know that at some point they’ve ended up on the floor (and we know how dirty the floor is). - There were no hand towels, no face cloths, no bin liners, and no paper towels. I see from previous reviews that they’ve had complaints about no bin liners, hand towels, or top sheets and they clearly haven’t addressed those issues. There was also lipstick on a wine glass! - There were NO blinds to cover the massive balcony door in the main living area, I could see directly into someone else’s bedroom and they could see us! The buildings are mere metres apart. - And all this is not to even mention that the place is falling apart - dirt everywhere, paint patch jobs everywhere, cabinet doors slanted, broken dining chairs, cardboard covering the kitchen cupboards, chipped doors and skirtings, etc. I’m genuinely so surprised this place is still rented on booking.com We paid $550 a night ($1100 for a two night stay!

Great location, excellent value
