The welcome was delightful and the breakfast was awesome (some items were already in fridge, fresh bread, fruit etc. brought in the morning), and my dietary restrictions were cheerfully accommodated.) There were also plenty of communal provisions - salt, pepper, spices, oil, cereals, different types of tea etc. - which I always really appreciate when I'm self-catering. Apparently many are left by previous travellers so thanks to them too! Everything worked. The covered private outside seating area was nice, and also convenient for drying things,, bike storage etc There were several places to buy dinner nearby, from an independent burger and pizza place (very good) to quite a fancy restaurant. Location is great for attractions including Glendalough and the Wicklow Way.

The studio was perfect for a one-night stay but it would not have been as suitable for a stay of three or more days I think, as it is very compact indeed. We had our car so didn't have to bring in a lot of luggage but it still felt like a bit of a squash for two people. But we knew this in advance so it wasn't a problem, and if you were used to camping or touring by van it would be luxuriously spacious!

Apartment was clean, cosy and very well equipped. The hosts are very friendly and lovely. Hope to see them again!

The breakfast was delicious and very plentiful. Bernie and family were wonderful hosts and made us feel most welcome. Bed was comfortable and kitchen was well appointed

No sign at the front, had to phone to verify that I was in the right place

Location was perfect for the walking we were doing. Our host even gave us a lift to the start of the walk we were doing as it was a little way from where we were staying, very lovely lady! Lovely choice of breakfast delivered to our door.

It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything needed was there. The room was in a lovely location. It was ideal for the event I was attending 15minutes away. The hosts were fabulous, so lovely and helpful. I got great tips the evening I arrived to find some beautiful locations nearby. Bernie brought a lovely continental breakfast in the morning. Without a doubt I’d stay again and would recommend to family and friends
