Location is great

It was not clean, especially the kitchen utensils

The apartment is very close to the tram line, it’s only few tram stops from the city centre and it’s also not that far from the bus stop for reaching the Hubland university centre. It’s located into a nice neighbourhood with a close chemist and few other shops. It has small rooms but it’s quite comfy and hot in winter thanks to the heating.

It is so disappointing that this apartment COULD be amazing, BUT it is dirty and stinky and it is held very badly. One of the radiators wasn’t working, so I asked the landlord to fix it, as we needed to stay for two weeks. After 5 unanswered calls I managed to talk to him and he went to fix it. Thank you for that one. Moreover, the cleaning lady doesn’t speak any single world in English, so communication is almost impossible. Also the communication with the landlord has been tough because he never answered when I needed to receive information before our staying. The floors and other surfaces were covered with dirt and dust when we arrived, especially the toilet and the carpet in the toilet, which we asked to be cleaned immediately: the cleaning service came, but nothing was done properly, except for removing the stinky carpet (with hair and dirty on it - see the pictures when we found it) and placing it into a hidden closet. We had to vacuum the other floors ourselves. Dishes and utensils were oily and not well washed. I’m very sorry about these conditions, I NEVER do such bad reviews but that situation was very frustrating, especially for being a two weeks dating for which we payed a lot. I hope something else can be done better for next times.

The apartment is large and mostly stocked if you want to cook for yourself during your stay.

This apartment is supposed to come with parking, which is in a few minutes walk away next to a residential house. There is no free parking on the street of the apartment itself as that is for residents only, and there is no space there in any case. When I found the "reserved" parking occupied, I called the Hausfrau who told me it wasn't her problem and she has nothing to do with it, and gave me the number of the owner who never responded or called me back. As far as customer service goes, that leaves more to be desired. Also the apartment itself was dusty and not very well cleaned. They only gave 1 body towel and 1 face/hands towel, both were old, crusty and falling apart. Same with bedding. No netflix or internet connection on the TV. There is no pepper in the kitchen? They left a wine on the table but I was unsure whether that was a gift or left by the previous renter...

The apartment is great, clean and has a decent kitchen area with a selection of teas available, as well as a dishwasher, stove etc.

The check in process wasn't as smooth as we'd hoped. We had a late check in and would have preferred written instructions for how to access the lock box for the key and the apartment. Instead, the hosts asked us call a few days before arrival, to which we received verbal instructions on how to access the lock box and apartment. This was quite confusing as there were a number of different steps to the process which we had to write down. We asked for a written message through booking.com, however the person we were speaking to was the housekeeper and explained she had no access to it. I would suggest providing a step by step written set of instructions for guests arriving after the standard check-in time.

This was my third time staying here. Peaceful, elegant, wonderful view from the balcony, very close to the Street Car. A grocery store in walking distance. A Mediterranean restaurant, a Turkish restaurant, nearby. We are grateful for this house. Thank you for being a host.

The space was large and could easily accommodate 3 or more people. A fairly nice convenient kitchen. Location less than 5min away from the motorway. An ok stay overall

The layout of the space was not intuitive and so for a while you go around the space looking for where the doors lead, but you get used to it eventually. The sofa was very uncomfortable, and not enough pillows and duvets were provided. They could have used some basics like olive oil, vegetable oil and some basic spices in the cupboard. Some things that were in the kitchen, like cutting boards, were hard to find. The TV was of the older type and so no apps or Netflix available. The parking spot was also not very obvious and a bit of a walk away from the property.

A very comfortable apartment with a good kitchen area and cooking facilities, a spacious bedroom with an additional lounge /dinning room. The location was quiet with easy access to the tram network. The bathroom and in particular the shower is definitely on the small side. Parking is available at an additional cost but is not located in the same street as the apartment but rather two streets away. The instruction provide about the apartment were generally very good as was the info about the local area.

Communicating with the host was very difficult. This was compounded by the fact that we were unable to make local calls. Access could have been made easier if we were in fact told about the lock box, via email, prior to our arrival. Also on leaving the property, again there were no clear instructions for leaving the apartment, ie what to do with the key.

My second time staying. Great location. Direct on the street car line. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We loved staying in a historic house.
