Big Studio with Ocean View max 6 sleepers

The studio was the perfect location right in the middle little Italy, downtown, and Balboa Park. We walked to everything and didn’t have to deal with parking or traffic. A few small markets close by and cute shops and lots of food. It’s also right off the freeway for easy access to beaches, old town, and Coronado. The studio has a great kitchen and tvs with plenty to watch. The planes are loud but are only bothersome outside. Beds were comfy! Staff communication was excellent. You have codes to get in - but you can message the management at any time.

Ceilings are low- so it feels a bit cave like- but all the windows help.

I love that it didn’t feel like a studio but more like a one bedroom because of how it was separated from the kitchen and mini living room. I also loved that it had two tvs in both rooms

The only thing is it can get noisy early morning and late night due to the planes but you get used to it after a while.

Clean, spacious property. Everything was very comfortable. Owners were also very quick to respond to messages. When we had an issue with the shower they sent someone over the next day.

The door lock keypad can be finicky.

Those were the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. The location is quite nice, cute neighborhood walking distance from Balboa Park. It was easy to get there from the airport and the apartment was cozy and clean.

It’s a bit shocking to see the airplanes flying so close, but it was such a surprise that in the end, it’s was our highlight! Honestly, it was perfect for us three.

The host came to help us get in the gate in seconds after I called to let him know I lost the email with the codes. The beds were super comfy and the sheets were so soft! The place was beautiful inside and very clean. AC was super efficient. Neighborhood felt safe, building was locked and felt safe. The deck to sit outside was a high point of the trip. Yes, PLANES DO FLY DIRECTLY OVERHEAD every 5 minutes all day, but we found them fascinating and quickly grew accustomed to the sound, It didn't keep us from sleeping soundly. All in all an excellent stay.

Only minor complaint was the lack of some kitchen essentials - for instance, there was only one small coffee cup, but several tiny tea cups. Minor. There were no paper towels, and all the towels there are beautifully WHITE! Spill that tiny cup of coffee? How to clean it up without ruining a towel?! lol Don't use the toilet paper, because there's only half a roll. But these were minor inconveniences.

Shower in need of update, but still very clean- towels provided.
