We like the personal. we enjoy the swimming pool and the fitness gym. the balcony was amazing, too.

we didn't like the dirty curtains and the leaking toilet

Really loved the location and security of Charlie Faria Lima, it was great walking distance to many restaurants, convenience stores, bakeries, coffee shops and close proximity via Uber to many attractions. Our view was stunning and ultimately the room met our basic needs

Our room was a comfortable size but didn’t feel very clean. There was a lot of black mold in the bathroom, throughout the shower, up the wall to the ceiling and around the bathroom window. There were also stains on the couch, lots of scuffs and what looked like food residue on the walls in the bedroom and living room. Our pillows were also stained with something yellow, and we had fruit flies coming out of the sink at the moment of check in. As a pregnant traveler these are things that were quite concerning for me. The rooftop pool offered beautiful views but it was obvious that it was not cleaned daily as there was garbage at the bottom of the pool and bugs throughout (with no net for us to clean ourselves before use). It was also not mentioned at check in that the pool would be closed on Monday’s which was disappointing and messed up some of our plans. There were also only 2 bath towels offered for a 6 day stay, and no pools offered to use for the pool which was also a little frustrating.
