Sea View Paradise

The vew from balcony of our apartment, which was on the 19th floor, was splendid. The apartment was spacious and had everything necessary for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. It is convenient for visiting places of interest and is close to the Corniche (seafront) which is a very pleasant place to walk. We had a problem with the water supply. Our host was very quick to offer us alternative accommodation which, in fact was not necessary as the issue was quickly resolved. There are very good seafood restuarants a five-minute walk away and number of mini-markets within easy reach. We would not hestitate staying there again or reccomending it to our friends. Our host also arranged an airport pickup from Cairo which was very convenient and resonably priced.

The antiquated lift is mentioned in other reviews. All I will say is it worked and it was an experience! The building and surrounding area reflect 'real' Alexandria as opposed to the sanitized version you might get in a five-star hotel. That said we never felt unsafe, including when out at night walking the backstreets. It all depends on what you like and feel comfortable with. For example, we spent a very enjoyable couple of hours sitting in a local cafe/bar watching football, where we were made to feel welcome.

The view was amazing and incredible. The spaciousness of the house was very good and met our every need.

The neighborhood is very friendly (as is all of Alexandria) and an easy walk to the street markets. The closeby Falafel shop is open 24 hours a day and is great. The corniche is close and provides much entertainment for people watching. Microbuses provide easy transport if you don't want to walk (we prefer walking). The best things are 1. How easy to have any question answered including ones you may not think of. Questions are replied to immediately. 2. The unbelievable view where I could just sit all the porch all day and watch the view 3. How nicely furnished and well-kept the unit is. We have stayed here twice and would not stay anywhere else! We love Alexandria!

The view was amazing and the apartment was clean and organized. Mr. Mohamed was a very nice respectful person.

Uitzicht vanaf appartement was geweldig. De airco's en de wifi werkte supergoed.

Geluid buiten was hoorbaar in de nacht en straat en de portier van de flat was ondermaats.

The view is breathtaking, offering a stunning panoramic view of the sea in one of Alexandria’s most beautiful areas. You can enjoy the view while having breakfast on the balcony, watching a movie in the living room, or relaxing in bed.
