Fantastic Cottage in Loch Lomond National Park

Location was very good. Driveway up to the house stunning. Comfortable and well presented.

Very noisy heating system. With hot water and heating on it created enough noise in bedrooms that you could not sleep. There were lengthy and a complicated instructions in the house book which did not help. We contacted the housekeeper who was very helpful and sent us a video explaning the system. This clarified things but couldn’t stop the noise, that’s just the way it was. Turned the system off at night but that meant no hot water in the morning. Access is through the electric gate before the first house on the right.

Location was quite difficult to find but we rang the host who was able to direct us easily.

Nothing, we would stay again. The only thing I would highlight is we couldn't find any sheets for the travel cot so used adult sheets. This was a minor issue.

Tough to find not on many maps

The location is great. The house is beautiful. All things needed in the house are all provided. We enjoyed the stay. Occasionally bump into deers running across the road in the estate

The main door lock seems to be a bit problematic. The tv is way too small. One bathroom seem to have shower problem

Beautiful place in a beautiful setting

Instruction for entry and hot water/heating were not clear.

The location was quiet. The cottage was very spacious and warm. Great to have the real fire and outdoors space to make the best of any weather. Lovely views from large windows upstairs. Walking distance to The Duck House for coffee, lunch or dinner, right beside the Loch.

Not enough sharp knives in the kitchen, we had to go and buy a bread knife. Also the single bed mattress I slept on was quite uncomfortable and sloped to one side having been used as a zip and link king size bed.

Super cottage in great location. Snuggly place to stay with lots of room.
