Cozy Guest Suite in Quiet Home with Private Entry

Quiet well appointed suite in leafy neighborhood out of the main city but a comfortable walk to a trolley bus. Bed was comfortable. Matt was a great host.

Matthew was very welcoming and on hand for help with any queries. A very helpful file of local information was provided. I appreciated the tea and (good) coffee. Also a full size fridge and cooker and comfortable bed. The house is in a safe and pleasant suburb with nearby public transport to downtown and the airport. There are local shops a 10 minute walk away.

I did have some suggestions to feedback, but chose to do this in person to the host.

This is a cute and cozy suite in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. There is a grocery store 10 minutes away (on foot). There are a number of parks nearby and it is in a safe area of Vancouver. Most nights I walked around late at night and never had any issues. The hosts were wonderful and did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. The room was clean, well maintained, and had all the amenities you'd expect.

Know going in that this is a pretty small place (very small kitchen adjacent to the bed) and while we never had any issue with the size it would be harder to prep large meals. With that said there is a decent sized fridge and everything you'd need to do so, it would just be a little cramped. The bed was a little bit uncomfortable but nothing that interfered with our enjoyment. Overall there are little things we could nitpick but overall we had a great stay. For the price, it was great value and it fully met all our expectations. If I find myself wanting to stay in that neighborhood of Vancouver again I would definitely seek this place out. Highly recommend.

Matthew was a great host who was responsive but not intrusive. The suite was cozy under the main property but completely private in a quiet neighbourhood. Liked having a full sized stove and fridge. Half the price of a downtown hotel and only about 15. Minutes by Uber to anything central so we came out way in front.

The owner is super nice and supportive! The location is great. Including kitchen which really convinience.

Not much to improve upon. I had stayed there before and then there were a few very minor things that I mentioned in my review. But I knew I would be really comfortable there and the suite is really well appointed, so I came back. The hosts were excellent. When the can opener failed, they let me borrow their own, then replaced the broken one ASAP. Teabags were topped up upon request. when the wifi kicked my old laptop off the network, they rebooted straight away for me, and I was back up and running. So helpful.
