Marina Vilamoura - Aquamar 401- Modern Apartment

Location is top. By the Marina and 5 minutes walk to the beach. The apartment was just ideal for us. The facilities and staff are great.

All good, really..

Location is excellent. Just by the Marina and the Falesia beach. The 24/7 service and staff availability. The apartment itself is cozy and with a nice view. The bigger room (suite) is outstanding and our two kids loved the smaller room.

That we only had a couple of days in Vilamoura this time.

As nice as this apartment is it is not a two bedroom apartment. The second bedroom is a small box room with what looks like two camp beds in it. One of the beds is pushed up against the wall and the other is pushed against the door to the balcony. There is no storage for clothes in this room. There is a good balcony with table and chairs which overlooks the car park. There was building work going on in the apartment dirctly above us with a jackhammer going for most of our second day. It would have been nice to have been warned about this prior to our arrival. I spoke to reception who apologised and after going back to the room they knocked on our door to update us on how long ther work would take.

Perfect location beside Marina

Lovely apartment in the best position for the marina bars and restaurants. The falesia beach is a 10 minute walk . Pool was ok never busy but needs a bit of tlc reception staff were helpful

No cleaning for the whole week you are there😞

Location excellent, good facilities. Would have a pool view next time and bring a pillow but bed very comfortable, loved it

A lovely 2 bedroomed apartment with twin beds in one room and 2 single beds pushed together to make a large bed in the other room. Beautifully furnished living area. Proximity to the Marina and beach was brilliant and to the local supermarket. Kitchen had dishwasher and washing machine as well as other small appliances. The apartment is at the back of the building which has no sun and overlooks the carpark. there is a small balcony with a table and chairs.

No cupboard or hanging space in the twin bedroom - it really needs something. The beds were very hard and not very comfortable (for me). The bedsheets only just went to the edge of the mattress either side, so if two people were sleeping in this bed, the bottom sheet would move a lot. No protectors on one of the (only!) two pillows - not hygienic at all! There was only half a toilet roll for each bathroom - no spare! No kitchen paper. No washing up liquid and no pods for either the dishwasher or the washing machine. One or two of each would've been nice - everywhere else I've stayed, they always leave a small amount for guests - not here though! (If I used it up, it would've been replaced!) The back of the sofa looks like it could do with a clean. There was no sachets of coffee/ milk left either - again, something that would've been nice on arrival. Just a few little things would've made it a better experience.

Extra towels for showering. One towel each was not enough when showering every day. One of the two bedrooms is quite small with no shelves or wardrobes to store your clothes.
