Eikehof Farm

Eikehof deserves a 10/10! It’s the perfect place to unwind and relax. We enjoyed every single moment and can recommend the accommodation to everyone who wants to wake up to a magnificent view of the mountains. Our baby loved the chickens walking around the premises and the donkeys. We stayed at the Oideskool house which is super well equipped and definitely made for interior lovers. The staff is super friendly and helpful on anything you need. The pool is also perfect for a sip with a view. We’re happy to be back some day!

It is an amazing venue, beautiful surroundings, and everything works. I got my riming wrong, and the staff carried my booking over for a month with zero cost. Amazing service!!! Bedrooms are lovely and well fitted. There are no aircons in summer, so just a note on this. Lovely fireplaces for winter in each room. Everything is well stocked and of great quality, down to the knives and forks. No TV, which we loved but be aware of winter and if u want to watch a relaxing movie. The pool is lovely and amenities well maintained. One seat could be repaired. Parking is plenty on site. All braai/BBq supplies provided, including matches, firelighters, and wood. Ishmael and Natalja are absolute superstars, and the rest of the staff are just stunning people. Absolutely worth a visit, high-quality facilities, and the most relaxing environment if you like a wine farm feeling. Really enjoyed the chickens, turkeys, donkeys, and general surroundings. You can even take a 5km jog up the dirt road. A nice mall is just 10 minutes away for all basics.

Consider aircons for summer. There is 1 shower for 2 rooms, big enough, but be aware. Hairdryer and irons upon request.

Absolutely incredible from start to finish. We were in awe of the beauty of this farm our entire stay and it was exactly what the soul needed.
