Unfortunately the hostess was away on business and was unable to provide what (I thought) was advertised. However, Gavin, the host, was most helpful and made a special trip into town and provided a sumptuous spread.

Nothing beats going home when living abroad. This working farm is exactly what we needed to unwind around preparations for a big family wedding at a neighbouring farm...

Upon arrival, you cannot see where to drive to. It is very confusing. There is no reception area and no signage. It is not possible to see the accommodation from the entrance. These are beautifully restored, well equipped units, but the heat was stifling without air conditioning or ceiling fans and no way to remedy the situation. 2 electric fans helped a little but really made our sleep unpleasant. There is nowhere to eat on the premises and this you don't know beforehand. So, if you do not take food with you, you'll starve.
