Anchor Point

This flat is perfectly positioned overlooking the active harbour with views out to the Farne Islands. Parking by the front door and well equipped throughout. Short walk to the village centre and harbour. Spacious accommodation throughout. Helpfull host who dealt promptly with a plumbing problem.

Beds rather small.

location is second to none, observed everything from bats to dolphins from the balcony, lovely walks either north or south, small beach and rock pools right outside the property . warm and comfortable with loads of space .

The maisonette was very spacious and in a fantastic position overlooking the harbour and the Farne Islands. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, including a washing-machine and dishwasher. The furniture in the lounge was very comfortable and the dining area had a lovely big table to sit at.

Unfortunately, the first impression of the front of the maisonette wasn't very appealing. However, once we stepped inside, it was warm and comfortable, clean, and bright.

The view was absolutely great. Same as the location.

The shower was v poor and inadequate. The oven was dirty and filled the kitchen with smoke when it was turned on. The cold water tap over the bath didn’t work .

Location excellent and a nice clean property

A little dated sofa very uncomfortable and could do with thicker curtains in the bedroom as the window fronts directly to the pub! No obscured glass in the bathroom upstairs and a blind in the downstairs bathroom is required as it fronts directly to the road. Would be nice if they left a small bottle of milk on arrival.

was tired but fine for 2 two day break

Balcony could do with a good clean as was unusable due to the amount of bird droppings all over it
