Avondale Apartment,2 bed lakeside on the Promenade, free parking & wifi

Appreciate find cold water in the fridge and a pint of milk. Clean and cozy. Very quiet for a good night sleep .

In the ensuit we had trouble using the shower, we couldn't set the temperature, too cold or too hot,and wasn't non-slip mat.

Beautiful apartment,well stocked kitchen with lots of little extras.

A little confusion regarding the key box to get into the room, there was 4 boxes and without glasses I hadn’t seen the name on the side

Great space and facilities like the two bathrooms a bonus. Really convenient to access the town, but just far enough away for peaceful evenings/nights. Hosts were available for any questions

The lift can be temperamental. No more than 4 adults at a time or it can stop working

It was close by to everything, the place was tidy had everything we needed. The host Steve and Helen were very friendly and onhand whenever we needed even allowing us a late checkout. Thankyou.

The directions were perfect, and parking was easy (although the gateway is a bit narrow if you have a big SUV (we don't)). The location is superb, right on the lakeside and easy walking to the town centre and the beach. The welcome mat is a nice touch, as was the pint of milk in the fridge! The kitchen is very well-equipped for its size, and it was a nice surprise to find a little air fryer as well. The main bedroom is a good size and the en-suite has a lot packed into a small space. The owners are helpful if needed and we happily accepted the offer of an extra night.

The only issues were so small as to not need mentioning while we were there. There were bits of cleaning that had been missed (e.g. behind the door in the en-suite and the kitchen around the toaster.) The squeaky doors to both toilets were a bit awkward for night visits, and one of the sinks needed boiling water put down before it would drain in less than 10 minutes. If we'd been staying longer, it would be good to know what to do about the bins. As I say, trivial issues really, which didn't spoil a lovely stay.

The Apartment is absolutely perfect. It was in a fabulous location and a nice residential area. Very peaceful. Had everything we needed and had lovely views over the Town. A very nice place to relax.

Great location, lovely apartment with 2 bathrooms, good view. My son was really happy with his double bed! The facilities were amazing - everything you need was supplied- all cooking utensils, towels, toiletries, even milk, coffee, tea. The hosts gave very detailed instructions on how to find the apartment. Everything we needed to know was given without having to ask
