Great apartment conveniently situated in quiet location, very helpful host, would book again

Great location, very nicely finished property has everything you would need in a holiday accommodation.

Lovely apartment filled with character, perfect location!

No negatives at all, but maybe a welcome pack would be a nice touch, like milk, water etc.

Superb location less than 5 mins walk from the vibrant Front Street with shops and cafes/pubs/ restaurants. Also less than 5 mins from the metro station which gives excellent links up the coast and right into the heart of Newcastle. It is also home to a fantastic market on Saturday and Sunday, selling a great range of good value craft and food items. The flat is extremely spacious and comfortable. Nigel the host was helpful and welcoming.

Not a huge issue but the flat would probably benefit from a deep clean - especially the kitchen.

Service & food was great. The bar & restraunt amazing. Nice & clean and very accomodating as we needed accessible shower etc.

Not Penny Hedge fault at all. The busses run on other side of road & mum had trouble walking the distance. Not far but just too far for her. Would be nice if a bus company could pick up out front as taxis can get expensive. However, for able person walking down to whitby is a breeze!

Location was good. Parking permit welcome. Kitchen was to a good standard and was well equipped. A tray would have been useful. Lounge spacious and comfortable.

Overall the property was tired. A deep clean was needed. The second double bedroom was poorly arranged with the double bed up against the window. The room was in desperate need of redecoration. The curtains were light and flimsy and didn’t block out light from the street lamp at night. The table lamp was broken. The ‘ rug’ was soiled and a trip hazard. The en-suite shower room had a stale odour. The plug was blocked with hair and gunge and once cleaned only drained slowly. Paint was flaking off the walls. The front door had to be closed with care as it did not always latch. We arrived back one day to find the door open.

Great location, the two big beds (in two separate rooms) were great, one of the showers was great. Very nice access to walking area along the coast and grassy park. Very close to metro, and Tynemouth center

No internet for first few days as there was problems with the router, No washing machine as it was broken (although landlord offered and did our washing for us, very kindly), The bath included two taps but no shower head and no plug (until we asked for it), Door handles needed tightening, The "third room with bed" was tiny, with no light and with a child-size bed not big enough for a grown person. The picture of the property depicts the whole house, but in reality this apartment is only on basement level, under the actual house (although is very big and spacious)
