Absolutely Nothing !!!

This place is dreadful, the lodge was dirty, bed sheets stained, apart from a kettle, a TV with only subscription channels, and a hairdryer that didn't work, none of the facilities listed were included. The room was full of mosquitoes, and no mosquito net as stated. Didn't get much sleep, and the sleep we did get was abruptly ended by the sounds of building work. We arrived in the dark so had no idea there was a construction site 50m away building a new bridge. We were booked in for 3 nights but left early after the first night. I am not going to sit here and list the problems, I'd like to forget we ever stayed there. The only positive is that we arrived too late to pay over 4million dong for the full 3 nights ! Avoid !!!

Great place and location, clean and comfortable.

There was a very noisy gathering with music and singing that spoilt the stay a little.

Highly recommend Cát Tiên Riverside if you are looking for a more local experience. Long is the prefect host. As a true local who was born in Cat Tien, Long is honest, welcoming and accommodating. As soon as we arrived, he showed us his farm and picked the fruit right from the tree to welcome us. He also helped us to book crocodile lake tour with a true local whose family used to live inside the Cat Tien National Park before they got relocated. The location is also prefect as it's just right next to the pier to cross the river to the park. We also had dinner cooked by Long's mom which was a great addition to our experience. The facitity inside the room is basic, but has all the essentials as needed. Surrounded by nature, you would wake up to all the different sounds of animals, birds, gecko, monkeys, you name it. I would stay here again next time I come back to Cat Tien.

The owners are very helpful and friendly. My room was right on the river and of a very good size with a terrace outside. Dinner in the restaurant was very good, although breakfast consisted only of two eggs and some bread.

The mattresses are extremely thin and hard. I found sleeping quite uncomfortable.

Great location next to the ferry to the park. The owners we’re very friendly and helpful. Their sunset boat trip is great. There is a semi domesticated hornbill which is interesting company during dinner.

The facilities are basic, you do get aircon, but you’ll also get the rock hard mattresses. At this time I don’t think you’ll find a soft mattress anywhere in the area.

Perfect location (one minute from the ferry to Cat Tien national reserve), very authentic, comfortable enough, amazing nature, very welcoming hosts.

Bathroom in the room is not really separated but rather screened from the main room space.
