Amazing experience!

Great hospitality as well as an amazing sunset boat ride

This is a great place, located directly opposite the national park. Long and his family were great - very welcoming, organised our onward travel and provided us with a superb boat trip. We stayed four nights and ate at the homestay three nights. We had a very large room to begin with which we were asked to change for a slightly smaller one when other guests came. The first room was quite dirty, in particular the bathroom. Happy to say the second was very clean and so we were glad about the move. Both rooms had comfortable firm beds and well functioning AC. One final positive worth mentioning is that you can get breakfast at 6.30 if you want to get into the park early.

-very friendly and helpful host, speaks good english -breakfast offered for no extra charge -stunning location next to riverside, you can see monkeys on the other side in Cat Tien national park from your room. Other people pay for safaris to the river to see monkeys or hear the gibbons singing, but here it is included in the price, and our host even gave us binoculars to watch the monkeys (better to watch them here than on a shaking boat)

-mattress on the beds a bit too hard, atleast for us westerns

The owner, doubling as our guide, navigated the river expertly, sharing insightful local knowledge that enriched our experience. As the boat glided through the water, we were treated to a spectacular display of wildlife, including numerous birds and playful monkeys, all under the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset. It was a perfect way to connect with nature. Accommodations at Cát Tiên Riverside felt like a nature embrace, with rooms perfectly positioned to wake up to views of the river. The soothing sounds of water and wildlife were a refreshing way to start the day, immersed in tranquility. Dining here was another pleasure, highlighted by a delicious fish hot pot that captured the essence of local cuisine. The ingredients were fresh, with flavors that spoke of the surrounding environment. The family's hospitality was heartwarming, making us feel like part of their community. Overall, Cát Tiên Riverside offers more than just a place to stay; it is a gateway to experiencing the natural beauty and cultural richness of the area. Whether you're an avid nature lover or just looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, this is a destination that delivers. Highly recommended for an authentic and peaceful retreat.

The place is amazingly beautiful, close to nature and very green. Sounds of birds, frogs and other jungle animals were very calming. Owner was super sweet and gave us advide on which roads to choose next, gave us breakfast and over all was as sweet as possible. View to the river was impressive too.
