Bottesford Cottage - Leicestershire

Great location, fantastic cottage, comfy beds, great communication from the host

Not straight forward to find and some areas of the cottage could have been cleaner

Great to have milk bread and jams provided for our self catering stay.

Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The cottage was super cozy and quaint. We had access to the front garden which was absolutely stunning. The cottage location as fabulous. We were minutes walk from the pub and village centre.

We just wish we were staying for longer.

Bei Ankunft war ein kleines Begrüßungspaket (Brot, MIlch, Butter, Marmelade, Cerealien) vorhanden. Vielen Dank. Die "Kindercerealien" haben wir nicht genutzt. Die Lage des Cottages ist super schön im Ort und auch generell für nähere Erkundungen/Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Vermieter sind freundlich. Es wurde schnell warm.

Alles in allem wirkt das Cottage innen etwas lieblos. Es könnte mehr daraus gemacht werden und auch die Inneneinrichtung liebevoller gestaltet werden. Es stehen nur 2 Sofas darin, die für mich nicht wirklich als Schlafsofa für eine 5.Person geeignet wären. So saßen mein Mann und ich uns jeweils auf einem Sofa ggü. - sehr ungemütlich! Die Betten waren etwas weich. Die Sauberkeit ließ auf den 2. Blick zu wünschen übrig. In den Wandschränken waren Spinnweben und auch vertrocknete Spinnen, so dass wir aus dem Koffer gelebt haben. Wir hatten aufgrund von Last Minute etwas weniger bezahlt, ansonsten kein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich finde es überteuert.

Lovely area

Internet does not work, hosts expect you to use mobile data during your stay. Hosts did not reply to messages or calls when asking for assistance. Cobwebs everywhere.

Cosy & well presented

It’s in a lovely location, and the owners were friendly. Milk , tea and bread provided was a generous touch .

The property overall was tired in need of refreshment. Poor towels provided hard and stiff .Lounge sofas uncomfortable
