"Perfect for a short family stay"

9.0

The space is really lovely. Wobbly floors, grand paintings and fireplaces show the age, as well as the lovely windows. Lots of room and storage and comfy beds. Facilities are just what are needed for a family short self catering stay. Fridge with a small freezer compartment, electric hob and oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Pots and pans ect. A few games. A decent shower. The fan was appreciated for the warm nights! Location is lovely too; just up the hill to the high town, which has everything you could need including plenty of lovely independent shops; or down to the river for a stroll (or a paddle) and up river to a nice play park. We didn't eat in the tea rooms this time, but it looked popular with a good selection.

Could do with a bit of a spring clean in the corners and round taps ect. Parking nearby isn't possible,, but there was usually space round the corner for dropping things off, and plenty of parking on the other side of the river a stroll away. No washing machine that you might want for a longer stay.

Fabulous stay from start to finish , The decor is to die for with fantastic views over the river .Huge with lots of space . There is everything you need for a really comfortable stay , we even stayed for an extra night . The owner maria is a lovely hospitable and welcoming lady and the cafe is definitely worth visiting with yummy eggs and toast 😋 We will definitely be back to stay again

There is nothing that we didn't like , a big thumbs up to everything at bishop percy's tearoom 👍👍

"Attractive and unusual apartment"

9.0

Lovely spacious flat so good for staying with teens. We all enjoyed the chess set! It was great to have this base as it was a very hot couple of days so nice to come back and chill out. Enjoyed walking around Bridgnorth on our first day and using the funicular railway around the corner.

Parking was OK, mainly found space by the river otherwise it was a bit further away.

"Wonderful, characterful accommodation in the historical heart of Bridgnorth."

Great location and a wonderful, characterful apartment that is also really homely and comfortable. Very kind and accommodating hosts. And you have the tea room just downstairs!

Nothing.

Loved the period details and history associated with property. Breakfast was great, too.

Parking, but we found some across the river.

"Very Good"

7.0

Lovely period building and lovely huge lounge/kitchen area with exposed beams (Apartment 2). Very convenient for town centre.

Lounge/kitchen area uncomfortably cold on arrival and also first thing every morning - heating was off on arrival and wasn’t timed to come on in the mornings until after we’d got up. Turned it on by hand as soon as we got up but it took a while for the chill to dissipate. Nowhere in the bathroom to put anything (toothbrushes, shaver, etc.). A shelf would have been useful. Shower control very sensitive so difficult to set a reasonable temperature. And water suddenly went cold mid-shower for no obvious reason. Kitchen towel would have been useful.
