This is a beautifully presented lodge in a peaceful location. The lodge was well equipped and had everything needed for a quiet break away. The hosts have taken everything into consideration for their guests. I would highly recommend, it's perfect!

So peaceful . Loved having the doors open and only being able to see trees. Lodge was spacious and lovely and clean.

Lovely spacious, clean lodge. The lodge is in a quiet location, perfect for a break away. The lodge was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend & will hopefully be able to return at some point.

There wasn't anything we disliked.

The location is lovely overlooking fields at the front and a forest at the back with wild rabbits bouncing around. It was fairly spacious, clean and with a comfy bed. It has good working amenities and a smart tv enabling the watching of apps such as Netflix and Prime (useful for cosy nights in). A bottle of Proseco was in the fridge which was appreciated and enjoyed. The hot tub is spacious and fun with daily visits from a maintenance man to ensure its kept in order. He would gain direct access to the hot tub via a side gate so he wasn't intrusive. Entry to the property is accessed via a key box which provides ease of access. No problems with parking as you simply park at the front of the lodge. Any queries raised via message was responded to efficiently and timely.

Upon entry of the lodge there appeared to be a slight smell but as it was hot we were able keep the doors open. There's some creaky floorboards that require fixing. The outside furnishings would benefit from regular cleaning. Also, regular cleaning/dusting of the outside of the lodge to remove the accumulation of cobwebs.

The lodge was fantastic, well equipped and clean, comfy bed, great facilities, hot tub was clean and all working well. My partner & I had a lovely stay, will definitely go back. Thoroughly recommend the lodge for a romantic stay, lovely location although we didn't want to go anywhere as we had everything we needed there
