House of Beer - Stein

My stay at House of Beer – Stein started off very well. The apartment itself is spotless and modern, with a bright, well-equipped kitchen, cozy furnishings, and even a small balcony. Highlights include the private underground parking (a rare bonus in the city), reliable Wi-Fi, washing machine/dryer, and seamless self-check-in. The location is also superb - just a 15 –20 minute walk to the old town, with shops, restaurants, and public transport nearby. Sadly, my overall impression was ruined by what happened afterwards.

A small accident occurred during the night when my little daughter, while asleep, accidentally broke the glass part of a bedside lamp. A couple of days after our stay, instead of trying to replace only the glass, the host demanded that I pay for the full lamp and even imposed strict payment deadlines. I tried to help the host and made some own research and found stores in Slovakia that offer universal replacement glass shades and lamp shades in various shapes, sizes and styles. This option was declined. This created unnecessary stress and left me with very negative feelings after what should have been a pleasant holiday. I consider it unfair that for such a minor, unintentional incident, the responsibility is shifted entirely onto the guest. Nowhere in the property’s policies is it stated how small accidental damages are handled, which normally means they should either be included in the rental fee or covered by the host’s insurance. Instead, I was told that I am the one that should have his own insurance to cover such expenses. The approach taken by the host ignored guest satisfaction and focused only on collecting money. At the moment, I am awaiting Booking.com’s decision as a mediator, and I believe only then should any payment be discussed - not under pressure of deadlines from the host. Future guests should be aware that even minor accidents may lead to extra charges and unpleasant correspondence after their stay.

L'appartamento è in una posizione tranquilla, in un bel condominio, da cui puoi raggiungere il centro a piedi in meno di 20 minuti (o prendere i mezzi che passano molto vicino) e ha la grandissima comodità di avere il posto auto coperto. L'host risponde in fretta ad ogni domanda e manda indicazioni molto dettagliate su come arrivare e ritirare le chiavi. La casa era pulita e confortevole, magari qualche piccola cosa potrebbe essere migliorata, ma quando ho scritto all'host per dei suggerimenti è stato molto gentile nella risposta. Direi che nel complesso è una buona base per visitare la città. Grazie

Io cambierei la tenda della vasca e metterei qualche fornitura di più in cucina, ma sono piccole cose, siamo stati bene.

Sehr tolles schönes Appartement,super ausgestattet,schöne Gegend,sehr ruhig.1,6 km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt,allerdings gibt es quasi vor der Türe die Straßenbahn

Wspaniałe mieszkanie. Pieszo do centrum z 15 minit spacerkiem, ale zaraz też obok tramwaj nr 9. Mieszkanie bardzo czyste. Bardzo duży plus za klimatyzację w pokoju, balkon i rolety zewnętrzne. Super kontakt z obiektem. Wszystko rozpisane wytłumaczone. Kolejny plus za parking podziemny. Z pewnością przyjedziemy kolejny raz.
