Modern City Centre House with Free Parking

Great location, very close to town, with off road parking. Good facilities and two bathrooms, plus downstairs cloakroom.

Downstairs living area was a little cramped. It was tight getting a family of 4 around the table for a meal. A worthwhile compromise for having a parking space so close to town however.

The location was brilliant. The house was light and airy, with ample space. Good number of bathrooms with plenty of hot water. The sofa was comfortable. Good to have parking. Ample kitchen equipment. The host was very accommodating regarding early check in and late check out.

The house could have been a little cleaner. The skirting boards were very dusty, the doors had marks on them, which could be wiped off. There were finger marks on all kitchen cupboards. There was also black hair in the shower and bath, which wasn't very pleasant. I felt in general the house had not been cleaned to a very high standard. Also, the outside patio area was very disappointing, weeds, dead plants and only two very wobbly home made stools. The description stated outside furniture and dining, but this was not possible. A small bistro set or two comfortable chairs would have been much better. There was also ash tray heaped with cigarette ends. All of this could be easily remedied to make this an outstanding property.

Loved the location and to have parking. Nice amount of space. Three toilets was a plus. Nice and peaceful area.

The outside area/garden was unkept. No furniture as advertised, just some decking slats put together for a small bench. Dead plants and weeds. Also a glass dish full of cigarette buts. All the windows needed a good clean, plus the kitchen cupboards needed a good clean. No mirrors in the bedrooms and a full length mirror somewhere in the property would have been nice. The twin bedroom had a window above the beds with no blind. Not that the blinds did much anyway.

Central location, good parking, clean and spacious. Generally a good deal.

The location was perfect. Greta to have the parking. Perfect space for the size of our group.

Unfortunately there was only one bathroom mirror so we needed a extension lead (provided) for straighteners etc

The house was lovely and bright and very close to the town centre. The secure car parking space was an added bonus. Overall a great place to stay!

We enjoyed the location. The property was very central and the neigbourhood was quiet.

We were not pleased with the property. The water appeared to be overly softened. We ran the dishwasher and everything turned white and we had to hand wash and scub all of the dishes. There was no bath soap, body wash or shampoo. We had to go out and buy everything. There was no shower caddy or rack, so we had to put our soap and shampoo on the shower floor. The bath towels were very small and thin and rough. There was no top sheet on the bed, only a comforter and the bedding was very cheap and rough and the mattresses were not comfortable. The carpeting on the stairs and upstairs was very dirty and stanied. The general cleaning was okay, but there was substantial dust on the cupboard shelves, towel racks etc. We went through and cleaned before hanging or putting away clothing. There was no shower in the 2nd bath, so not very convenient for 4 adults.
