Charming Red Courtyard Apartment

The apartment is situated in a calm area with all conveniences and public transport in walking distance. It's a good choice for a short stay if you don't mind not being directly in the center or the studio size. Great price for Copenhagen.

Basically the only issue we had was with the shower. The curtain is not enough to prevent the water from wetting the floor around. We stayed for a couple of nights and the bathroom floor was never completely dry, from the moment we arrived to when we checked out, despite using ventilation, a squeegee and opening the windows in the living area.

The owner was very helpful and communicative. The on-site manager, Gabriel, was exceptionally nice and helpful. The location was super. It is very close to many forms of transit that run on a regular basis. It is about 500m from a huge park with tons of trails. Getting to the center of town is easy by transit or walking. There are plenty of markets nearby for buying groceries as well as cafes and restaurants and bars. We did have kitchen basics including a handtowel, soap and sponge.

The room itself was a bit spartan. The bed was comfortable but hard for one person to get in and out of because the room is so small the bed is against the wall so the wall-side sleeper has to get in and out via the foot of the bed. There's not much room to store luggage so getting in and out of bed also includes dodging luggage. My husband and I each had a backpack and carry-on size suitcases. The bathroom is about the size of an RV bathroom. The kitchen did have a fridge but no freezer. There's a hotplate, microwave and toaster plate.

The location is perfect, and the place is just what you need to stay in Copenhagen a few days as a tourist.

Good location and value for money

Everything is good. Very good value for money. Everything as in the photos. It also has a TV. That was unexpected. Very calm and very beautiful neighbourhood. Amazing location.

Lack of space. Needs a little bit fixing (faucet in the kitchen is a bit broken)

The location was excellent in a lovely part of Copenhagen and near to a supermarket and cafes. The bed was comfortable. It was good to have a fridge and utensils in the kitchen area. The shower next to the WC was novel and left water all over the floor but I am told that this is normal in Denmark.The water was lovely and hot.

The TV remote was poor and I only managed to get YouTube, On the last two evenings it didn't work at all. The wash basin in the bathroom was so small that I banged my head on the shelf above while brushing my teeth. The window blind was white and transparent and let in the light early.

The property was near the centre around 20 minutes walking . Was indeed very clean and the host very helpful and good communication as well:))
