It was warm and friendly and very cute. They have made a few upgrades making it more comfortable.

"No hot water"

The housekeeping staff were good. They told us the geyser was broken but could not do anything about it. I had asked for no feathers in pillows or duvets. The toilet in the room we were supposed to stay in evidently broke down prior to our arrival. After a night of sneezing and eyes watering discovered a feather pillow. Housekeeping staff immediately dealt with the issue but we could not face another night without hot water.

No hot water for 2 days and the weather was cold. Management was no where to be found. Sign on office door said if door closed go to bar. Nobody was at the bar. We left a day early despite having paid. Moved to Critchey Hackle Lodge which was outstanding. The Inn is in desperate need of upgrading.
