The Garden Loft

Big, comfortable apartment. Comfortable bed and sofa and well equipped kitchen. Quiet location away from the (not very busy) road. Little balcony with table and chairs. Good communication from owners about access to the apartment.

Very quiet. Good accommodation for 2 people. Outside balcony is a bonus. Views of trees & fields from the windows.

Kitchen. Oven needed a metal baking tray. (To help keep the oven clean & for pizzas & ready meals etc. Not advisable to put them straight on the oven shelves) Bathroom. Needed a toilet brush.

Location idyllic - such a peaceful, tranquil setting. Loved seeing a wild deer crossing the property access drive one morning.

Additional drections to the property on entering the village would have been helpful. The first property with wooden gates as you enter the village from Acle is not The Garden Loft as detailed in the directions given.

The location makes this special. bedroom views over fields. A balcony overlooking trees and the doors to the balcony left open, means birdsong can waft into the living space and that's just lovely to hear through the day. Plenty of room to sit and chat, eat with guests or sit and watch a dvd, or telly and play some of the games left for guests. These places are such a great place for a mini-break away from busy life and as a base to explore the area. So much better than a hotel room. The hosts communicated but left us to enjoy our break.

Nothing was perfect

Very peaceful, lovely views over the fields, easy access for walks right from the door. Warm, comfortable, everything we needed for a lovely new year break. Hosts sent the info we needed and then left us to our own devices which we much prefer. Thank you

Website should make it clear that the loft isn’t above another rental apartment. We nearly didn’t book new year here in case there was a rowdy bunch right below us. In reality it’s a garage and private owners space, so didn’t need to worry. Also need to take down a picture in the bedroom and put up a mirror, nowhere to use hairdryer and see your hair at the same time !!!
