Ki Kiba Dhee

Location, service and some rooms (living room, balcony, bedroom) were 10 out of 10. The place is 10 minutes walk from the main tourist square, it has wonderfull view and the host is really helpful.

These place is at the 3-rd floor of another hotel and has 4 separate rooms: kitchen, bedroom, living room and bath. They all have separate doors, which you need to lock every time you go out or go to sleep. That's a little bit annoying. The kitchen is a bit dirty. And the the first day there were cockroaches there (host quickly solved that problem). There were some kitchenware, but it was dirty (from the western point of view of course). The bathroom was cold and uncozy. It looked old and quite dirty. There was a 10-liter boiler that was quite enough for a quick wash, but not more. It was cold at night and the heater was broken. Although it was in the room to make good impression on us) For the working one the host asked extra payment. Cold wasn't a big problem, cause we had warm clothes and there was a heating matrass. But still it was a little bit inconvenient. The sockets in the living room were awful. The host need to change them. The pluck keept plugs keept falling out of every socket) To sum it up, the place looks great when you first see it but afterwards a number of inconveniences occurs. One may say that it's India, but we had much better rooms in other Indian hotels for the lower prices.

Very large apartment with a private entrance - bedroom, livingroom, kitchen, two toilets, bathroom. The owner is very nice and careful, he took care about our trip to Tiger hill, airport shuttle etc. He still keep in contact with us during our stay. Nice view to the city and Kancendzenga.

The worst room in this apartment is bathroom - there is mold all over the walls. Unfortunately the windows in the rooms are not able to be closed properly, so there is really cold during the night - the owner showed us where are extra blankets, which are really warm and cozy, but it is not comfortable at all when the rooms are so cold (especially in the morning). I hope owner will fix this as soon as possible - then this apartment will be absolutely amazing in all ways.

Nice location, the flat is really big, awesome terrace. The kitchen was relatively well equipped

As with most other properties in Darjeeling the concept of heating rooms in the winter months is completely alien, so apart from the electric blanket it was freezing cold. We were given a radiator (extra charge) but the wiring was so bad that the plug melted in the socket and nearly caught fire. The owner still expected us to pay for heating for that day! Hot water worked for about 5 minutes max.
