In an ideal location for a quiet getaway

Our cottage was spotlessly cozy well equipped and set in a stunning location - we felt truly spoiled 😊 the host are amazing too - thank you Helen for being so wonderful and kind - we will definitely be back 💖

We were here to celebrate our Granddaughter s wedding and the cottages could have been better. The owners were so helpful and kind. The area is beautiful and so handy for all amenities. We will definitely be back even without a wedding to go to.

Lovely property very well equipped with some nice touches which included milk tea coffee and biscuits all supplied by the host Helen who introduced herself to us. Lovely view across the fields and a short 20 minute walk across the fields to the small village of Dorrington. Ideal for Shrewsbury, Telford and Ironbridge etc all a short car ride away. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again.

No dislikes

The owners were friendy & came out to introduce themselves,,it was peaceful at dusk & we seen lots of bats.. there was a lovely floor fan which was fab as it was extremely hot in the rooms so I was grateful 🙂 Bedroom was lovely & roomy & loved the black out shutters on the inside were fab.

There was lots of spiders in every room, all windows when open had dead spiders & bugs on the sill & sides, cobwebs were inside on things , the outside porch roof were covered in them & when we opened bedroom window they were dangling. I absolutely am petrified of spiders etc... hubby went round killing them but more appeared a while later so it defo spoilt it as they were even dangling from the bath taps. Me & hubby couldnt relax as the couch was a tiny 2 seater in the kitchen/living room area & just 2 hard plastic chairs so I stayed in the bedroom, there was free view on the tv which was a little disappointing for the price we paid. We also didn't feel comfortable sitting in the living room as when the owners were going in & out they had to pass the place in car & they could see us as all windows were on the drive way side, shame really, but the views from the place were lovely & peaceful. Oh & the pub near by had shut down.

Nice cottage, on site parking, very comfy beds, lovely surprise of the welcome pack and great communication.

Being picky, a bigger sofa would have been nice and don't expect a power shower, but you are in a rural location.
