The location is perfect. We had free parking with our apartment. It is stocked with everything you need for basic cooking. The space was bright, and the heaters provided excellent warmth on cold days. The internet was ok for streaming. See info in the negatives section on the issues we had with the WiFi. If you are not remote working, it was usable.

The only issue was that the internet was not great for working remotely. They use WiFi extenders to provide internet from one of the other apartments/buildings. It worked ok for streaming. I was able to find a workaround by using my travel router in the front window to connect to the main WiFi. This provided about 4x the speed vs the extender. Without my workaround, speeds were around 10-30mbps (at best); after the workaround, around 45-70mbps. I would recommend they find a way to get a better signal by adding a wired Access Point in each apartment or an outdoor Access Point on the rear of the front building, pointing into the 2 rear apartments. This would be very beneficial to remote workers and would make this a perfect 10/10. The cost would be minimal to implement this, and they would be able to provide 100mbps+ consistently in the apartments. It would be a huge selling point for remote workers.

Great great location, lots of room , well appointed , comfy bed . Parking was available-kind of. Open space , and washer dryer.

The place had a sewer smell and water from the taps tasted very poor , undrinkable . Did not want to shower because we thought we would smell like the icky water. Not sure if that’s how it always is or if something was going on . We were supposed to have a parking spot but someone was parked in our spot and had to deal with that , which is not what I wanted to do on my limited vacation time . Also no coffee .

Perfect location for exploring, very easy to walk to major attractions and areas. Apartment was well equipped, clean, and exactly as described. Host was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Sehr schönes kleines Appartement mit einer absoluten Top Lage im Zentrum von Reykjavic. Unkomplizierter Check in zu jeder Zeit möglich wegen Türcode. Das Bett ist bequem. Das Bad ist erstaunlich groß für die kleine Unterkunft. Die kleine Küchenzeile ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Sehr netter Kontakt zum Vermieter. Alles ist sauber und ordentlich und wirklich gemütlich! Das Appartement ist schnell aufgewärmt, was im Isländischen Winter wichtig ist ;) Wirklich empfehlenswert!

Es ist sehr hellhörig (was uns zwar nicht stört, aber für empfindliche Leute kann es störend sein). Die Lichtschalter sind sehr chaotisch angeordnet, man muss erstmal herausfinden welcher zu welchem Zimmer gehört und sie befinden sich nicht direkt am Eingang, sodass es im dunklen schwierig ist erstmal die Wohnung zu betreten. Beim Duschen in der Wanne muss man sehr aufpassen, nicht das Bad unter Wasser zu setzen. Alles meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau ;)
