The Old Queens Stable on Sea

In terms of being near the seafront and shops/cafes, was a great location. Discovering we had booked the same weekend as the Bonfire celebrations was a bonus!

We appreciate it's the end of the season but the accommodation was very tired and the lack of free parking could be better advised. Sofas and beds were not the best for tired bones and if travelling as a group of friends, be aware that the doors to bedrooms and bathroom have glass windows so privacy can be a challenge!! Coming home in the evening to a drug deal taking place in the drive entrance was not pleasant either!

Location was great, lots of amenities close by and a nice walk along the front to Hastings itself. Very nicely decorated and information provided was very helpful (especially how to use the shower). Our host was really helpful and communicative, it helped up prepare for our stay. All the little touches made it a great experience. We could have stayed longer.

Our host was very helpful, but info on waste / bins may be helpful to others. Some smaller glasses / tumblers in the kitchen would be good. But really it was great and these are just small things.

A truly beautiful and well-equipped accommodation. The apartment is located in a courtyard and is in a quiet area. Everything you need for daily life is in the immediate vicinity. A Coop supermarket is a 2-minute walk away, and both the beach and the train station are just 5 minutes away. The accommodation offers a spacious living and dining area, as well as the kitchen, on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms and the bathroom. Everything was clean and in good condition.

The property was very spacious The property had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It was great that we each had a separate sleeping area because we had 3 adults staying in the property.

The only downside to the property is the entrance off the road because it is quite narrow, and when other cars are parked on the opposite side of the road, it is very hard to get a good swing round to get the car up to the property.

The owner popped round to check all was ok and was lovely and helpful

The only positive thing is the location

An old property that is not maintained even in terms of cleanliness. A total shock was the disgusting carpet and dirty dishes. Not even the top of the kitchen was cleaned, the stairs full of dust and a bad smell in the house. Being accommodated with a one-year-old child, the mess there did not allow us to leave the child free.

The !location was great. The property has all the facility you need although they are a little tired.

On arrival being able to locate ..outside front of property...warm welcome from ginger cat lol..nice home from home ..all cooking ironing facilities..nice furnishings...need to double up on pillows for a good night's rest ..provided ok towels ext...stones throw away from local spar ..left on main road up from pub on corner ..some good restaurants to visit..a real good pizza at place near sea front ...walk to right at end of road seafront....no problems .all good enjoyed the stay...good comms from Doug..thankyou Colin n family ..must visit old town up from pier.....and pier itself.. nice people to meet all good ..

Well apart from the beach being polluted ..which was a put off even though..some people were in the sea...good ..overall
