Great position

Very cleverly designed apartment for a small space. Good quality amenities, comfy beds, good showers. Worked really nicely for myself and my friend as we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Location is great! Right in the centre of town near the concourse. A lot of attention to detail has been invested in this space…books to read, objects of interest, nice furniture.

The entry door is quirky and we really weren’t sure what we’d find behind it! As it turns out we were pleasantly surprised but it is deceiving. The entry space could be a little more in keeping with the apartment (linen bags under stairs, needed a bit of a clean, walls a bit scuffed etc)

The apartment is in a great location. It is unique in the layout, with main bedroom at one end and smaller single bedroom at the other and two bathrooms. Kitchen area was well equipped but we didn't use it for our overnight stay.

No windows. I personally wouldn't stay more than a night or two as I like fresh air. Also pillows were too soft for me.

Showers were great. The property was clean and organised. You are a short walk away from most shops, restaurants and cafes.

The bedrooms do not have windows, which is likely not compliant with the National Building Code. Bedrooms without windows = cupboards. The only property window is frosted and 'looks' (we believe) to an interior yard. The noise from the yard comes right through the window, as well as the noise from guests in the other two units coming in and out. The property is not sound-proofed. We heard very loud traffic noise (likely from burn outs or racing), which started at 8pm on our first night and went well beyond midnight. We booked two nights, but were so disappointed with the property, we ended up leaving after the first night. The sliding door on the second bedroom does not allow much privacy or sound/light proofing. Access was through a door code, which was convenient yet did not feel very secure, especially when you have little kids and you feel in the middle of Bathurst.
