Spacious Shude Hill Apartment With Balcony

Great location. Easy to get to. Good size.

Dirty. Crumbs and bits on chairs and the oven trays still had food on them. Unusable. Stains on bed sheets. After booking.com took the money for the booking I was then asked for a £250 deposit that could not be paid on a credit card. Nothing on the listing to say this. Fortunately I had the money. Others may not.

The location of the apartment was great. The apartment had everything you need, cups plates etc. the beds were super comfy. A lovely spacious apartment for our 60th birthday celebrations. Hosts were very good with communication.

I didn’t see any reference to the amount of steps there were to get to the apartment. Some of our group are disabled and struggled a lot with the stairs. Also the stairs to the bedroom upstairs are awful and very creaky! The cleanliness of the apartment was also not on point. It was clean enough but just lacking the sparkle you expect from a high end apartment. There was quite a bit of dust around, smears on the mirrors and some hair in the sink.

Location excellent. Tough to find the flat if you arrive at night as the jewellers shop is not lit and MorrisAns is a small 24/7 convenience store not a branch of the chain Morrisons. The side road you need is between the car park and pedestrian entrance to the Arndale centre on the other side of Shudehill rd. TV is great, kitchen is equipped. Fridge/freezer was a bonus.

Decor is a bit tired, a lick of paint would help and the carpet on the stairs to the top bedroom needs replacing.

The property was spacious as advertised and quiet despite being in a central location. Our room included a bathroom and ensuite. We also had a fully functioning kitchen with a washing machine, dryer, etc. Side note: I was let down by our accommodation at the last minute. I booked this property and was in it in under two hours. Special mention to Lyndsey and other team members who went out of their way to ensure a fast track entry into the apartment when we were stranded and on a timescale. Couldn't have asked for more.
