Stunning 2 bed apt with free parking close to CC

Wet bed linen on the bed, dirty floors, wet dirty tea towel, cleanliness of the bathrooms, hairs in the plug holes, general upkeep of the whole apartment. The fact the word STUNNING was used in the description!!!!!

The location was superb, close to student accommodation and all facilities, and with stunning views. The apartment was bright and clean, and Sara very friendly and accommodating.

Although everything was very clean, there was a feeling of neglect to the flat which perhaps the host is unaware of if she hasn't tried staying there herself recently: stained seat covers in living area and dining room chairs, some ceiling lights not working or simply ripped out of sockets, some peeling paint, broken coffee table, no mirror in one bedroom, broken mirror in the other, no bedside lamp in one bedroom, shower very hard to operate without water spurting all over bathroom. The sheets and pillowcases looked as if they’d been screwed up in a drawer, the pillows were like pancakes There are no supplies, even toilet rolls, no hand towels, no tea towels or washing up bowl although you have to wash up all crockery (we used the one dishcloth as both tea towel and oven glove!). It was an ill equipped kitchen if you’re staying for more than a day or so, and want to cook family meals: three mugs only, 4 or 5 dinner plates, two saucepans, only one small oven dish, four forks, etc. With a little sprucing up, restocking, and replacement of some bedding and soft furnishings, this apartment could be absolutely stunning, but currently, sadly, it is not.

Attentive host who allowed us to check in a little early, clean apartment and near to shops and amenities.

The bathrooms could do with a little sprucing up. Very little toilet roll upon arrival.

Sara is a very kind and interested homeowner; she made me feel right at home. The house had everything I needed for comfort and was clean. The location was truly fantastic. I plan to stay here again when I return to Manchester. I think it deserves a 10/10 rating.

Nothing happened that I didn't like

This is a great looking flat in a perfect location for visiting student kids or making the most of the universities side of Manchester. It's v close to buses and has parking at the back so we had both options. Easy to get into the city centre. The flat is modern and feels secure, with lift access to the 4th floor. It has great views of the buzz outside. near coffee shops, pub takeaways and groceries though we mostly spent time in the city. Sarah was a great host and offered to sort a problem quickly.

The flat looks promising in the photos but the reality didn't quite match up. The living room area really needs making more comfortable. The sofa looks very cool but it's actually a bit saggy and stained. Luckily we were out most of the time but we couldn't sit and relax in the living room as the sofa is a style that isn't comfortable at all, too deep and the back is too low. The flat is just getting a little tired and in need of some tidying up and a fresh lick of paint.. There were holes in the walls where pictures and a security camera had been removed or sockets moved, the skirtings and bath sides in the bathrooms are coming away and attracting dirt and dust, some of the lightbulbs were loose in their fittings and flickering, the single beds felt a bit rickety. The pillows were very thin, and the single beds only had one each. They needed replacing, to be honest. The duvets too. The mattresses felt old and compressed. Two bathrooms are great but the shower attachments cannot be moved on the wall so can only be used hand-held which made hair washing quite difficult. Although it is double glazed there can be quite a bit of noise from the street with a Wether spoons next door. It's a student area so not a surprise but it may bother some. Overall it's a good flat but given what we were paying I wouldn't class the flat as "stunning" which is a shame as it could have been a gem.

Location was perfect. Apartment comfortable to enjoy.
