Darlington Town Centre Apartments free parking and Wi-Fi

HEALTH WARNING!!! this property is nothing as described on booking.com. the landlord/owner is rude and unresponsive. Firstly you walk in to the buolding and there is flys and it smells funny. Walk in to the apartment and get instantly get hit by the smell of sewers. The toilet is stabilised by a small piece of wood but moves when you sit on it. The shower had some wierd yellow liquid coming back. The cooking equipment ( lack of) is dirty and too well used. Fridge only just keeps things cold. Sofa (broken) is full of stains. No curtains just broken blinds. Dirty windows in and out one of which is screwed shut. Old shabby towels. Not that it mattered I wouldn't use the shower for a million pound. My partner was say on the toilet and was accosted by atleast 10 blue bottles which came from the (broken) extractor. We had to buy bottles of water as the water itself stank. My 6 month old became very poorly ending uk with a hospital visit. along with my 3 yr old getting poorly shortly after. Trying to talk to the landlord is impossible he's rude. Going through booking.com is useless also as they can't do anything without talking to this guy who refuses to either reply or says nothing is wrong with anything. Also noticed when we were out on multiple occasions someone must have been in the apartment as odd stuff was moved. We ended up leaving early as soon as we could afford to move. This place is a complete health violation 1000% and will be reported as soon as I finished this review.

One of the bedrooms had a horrible stench and was unusable. The apartment was run down and shabby . The bathroom was no bigger than a cupboard and difficult to use.

The location was great and the apartment was cosy and comfortable.

So I had left a bathroom light on for when I returned from work as it would be dark and when I had got into the property the light had been turned off! Initially I thought they could be on a timer however I realised they were not as I had left the same light on the previous evening. I also had a brown morrisons shopping bag next to the sofa which was removed and nowhere to be seen, I then thought maybe a cleaner had come in however I checked and the bin had not been emptied and everything else was how I left it. I just felt a bit uncomfortable knowing that someone had entered the property without me being there.
