Houndsgate Court, Nottingham

Secure (2nd Floor, and codes to enter courtyard + main building) very central, easy to get to from station, and quiet (even at weekend with windows open at night). All areas and items cleaned to acceptable standard. Plenty of extra Linen and Towels for the duration of our stay. Photos of property accurate.

It was unbearably hot in the property in late August due to the boiler for hot water being located in the main lounge area and only a small window for cooling, which we had to leave open constantly. There was a very weak ventilator provided which didn’t help much. The host could invest in a better one. As others have commented, the internet didn’t work. The host should look into fixing this. The pots and pans for cooking were in poor condition. The host should replace some of these.

Good location, clean and comfortable

Very spacious and well decorated. Really good value for money. Nice Jacuzzi bath.

Window was open and wouldn't close. Took several days for them to get back to me. Heater didn't work in the living room. Could be provided with me kitchen utensils.

This is the third time I've been to this apartment. It is incredibly luxurious. Very comfortable quiet very very clean. I will be back for the fourth time and even more times.

My stay had its ups and downs. The place seemed alright at first glance, but there were some notable issues that affected our experience.

The sofa and blankets had stains, which was disappointing. Moreover, the mattress felt worn out and uncomfortable, lacking the firmness needed for a good night's sleep. To add to the inconvenience, the WiFi remained dysfunctional throughout our entire stay. What was more concerning was the state of their chairs, already stained when we arrived. Surprisingly, they accused us of causing these stains, which wasn't the case. During the checkout, a water spill occurred on the rug. While we acknowledged this accident, they claimed it was an oil spill, demanding an additional cleaning fee of £50, which seemed unjustified. Furthermore, the cleanliness of their plates was subpar. Overall, while the place had potential, the cleanliness issues, uncomfortable mattress, ongoing WiFi problems, and unjustified claims regarding spills left a lot to be desired in terms of a pleasant stay Additionally, the presence of foundation stains and hair on the walls was rather off-putting, contributing to the overall dissatisfaction with the cleanliness standards.
