Absolutely Nothing. Appalling experience.

BEWARE: I am very well traveled and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a “property”. I would strongly suggest you select anywhere else to stay. BE AWARE: Under NO circumstance should you pay this property in advance of arrival. After several requests I was never provided the full street address. I can not comment on the property itself. I was charged in full but never saw or stepped foot in it. I still question whether it exists. Given the choice, I would rather sleep on a park bench during a monsoon rather than deal with this Property.

The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and had all I needed, including for cooking meals and laundry. The owner arranged transport from the airport and met me to let me in and give me the keys. I stayed 11 nights and slept very well as it was peaceful and quiet. It is located in a residential area of Port Louis, with a food shop just up the road. It is a flat and easy 15-minute walk into the center of Port Louis which was a great location for me.

There was nothing that I didn't like about the apartment, as it was all clean and well prepared.

The appartment was modern and nicely arranged. We had enough space, with separate bedroom, living room/kitchen, and a washing machine. The owner has a water filter so you can drink tap water without concerns. The owner organized a transfer back to the airport at good price at our request.

The flat had clearly not been cleaned before our checking, as seen by dirty floor, fridge, carpets, and drawers, so we had to do some cleanup before using the fridge and drawers. During the night you could hear the neighbouring dogs barking, better isolation would help.

This property has everything a working professional would need to live and work in Port-Louis. The internet is very fast at 100Mbps. The host recently installed a full water purification system that provides reverse osmosis, ultra-filtration, and many other steps as well as remineralizing the water. These 2 items eliminated most of my burden when I just move to a new place. The cooking amenities allowed me to cook healthy meals during the stay. The host provided clear instructions on how to use the amenities. He also shared his knowledge of the local area.
