An elegant studio apartment in Reykjavik - Great Location

The double bed is not safe for kids.

The communication from the host was excellent. The location was good and the outlook over the green field to the sea was lovely. It was very quiet despite being near the domestic airport. There wasn't much air traffic and no flights left late at night or early in the morning. The double glazed windows made everything very quiet.

The pillow and the"bunk" bed were a bit lumpy. The windows above the bed don't have blinds or curtains so I had to sleep with an eye mask as it was very light.

Close to airport landing strip and take-off - Noisy and noisy car doors slamming frequently non adjustable floor heating too high - request for reducing was ignored so had sliding doors open 24/7 (no windows)

Appartamento sporco, sacchetto dell’ immondizia della cucina e del bagno dei precedenti ospiti lasciata nell appartamento al nostro arrivo. Polvere ovunque. Inviato e-mail all host per chiedere di effettuare pulizia dell appartamento ma non abbiamo ricevuto nessuna risposta.

Είναι ακριβώς όπως περιγράφεται. Έχει απίστευτη θέα σε ιδανική τοποθεσία. Αν και απέχει λίγο από το κέντρο, έχει όμως αστικά που περνάνε τακτικά σε απόσταση 100μ.

We loved the view most of all, but we also loved how close to it was to everything.

We did not particularly like the fact that the patio is shared with the main house and there were many small children playing on the patio. It was not private. Also the light fixture was hanging by the wires and I did notify the property.
