Sunny Apartment - By the Sea in City Center

I had a 4 nights pleasant day here. The facilities are so complete and the owner is so kind and care. You can request for early check in and late check out as long as there are no guest before and after you.

The only thing I didn’t like about this property is the bathroom handle door was broken. I hope the owner could repair it immediately cause it could cause someone is locked inside. Except that thing, all is perfect.

Location, facilities overall ok. The host (managing 135 properties) checked with us regularly through standard messages.

The propery is worn out, the terrace, windows were very dirty. Terrace not really usable. Corners in bathroom dirty, same for cooking area, in particular the hood. Some light bulbs broken, bed is worn out/looks dirty. We have roots in Iceland, not proud this is rented out to tourists that come to Iceland for the first time, also because the problems are related to cost savings and lack of hygiene standards.

The host was very nice and helpful. I liked that he/she was very responsive. The location is great and we had easy access to the apartment.

The light in the bathroom was not working. It was not very clean (dusty), the couch had stains, the windows were extremely dirty and the terrace was unusable because of the dust. Also, the furniture looks very used.

Excellent apartment. Super easy check in and amazing host who emailed regularly to answer any query we had. We were even able to check in early. The location was perfect and the apartment was spacious to make us feel right at home. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking with a stay in reykjavik.
