Quiet and safe

Amazing property. Great location. Host Ema incredible. Fabulous apartment with great view and balcony. Bed a little too soft for me and could use some basics in the kitchen (even just salt and pepper) but otherwise faultless.

The bath plug didn't work, and Sarah didn't respond when I messaged her about it. The shower head needs decalcifying. There is no water pressure, and water squirts out in all directions Chipped plates Absolute bare minimum in terms of crockery and cutlery Bed and sofabed could do with replacing as they offer no support and are uncomfortable. Flat needs painting as it's grubby, and there are dirt and scuff marks all over the walls The carpet in the bedroom needs replacing or at least a good clean Windows are filthy The freezer was caked with ice, and one of the drawers was missing

We had booked 2 apartments but only one was presented on check in. It was sorted out but made for an unsettling arrival. Lack of any consumables such as tea, coffee, salt etc that you expect . Great location and lovely looking apartment let down by cheap finishes, thin bedding and pillows, wonky shower and lack of attention to detail.

Location is great, the apartment is very bright, and the property surroundings are beautiful and quiet. The hosts are very nice, communication with them was smooth and so was the keys pick-up process. They were flexible enough for a friend of mine to pick up the keys within the free check-in time so I could avoid the "late check-in" penalty.

General cleanliness was rather poor, especially in the bathroom and the kitchen drawers/cupboards. Although the building seemed relatively new, the apartment itself is lacking some maintenance and painting. The amount and quality of the kitchenware and other amenities was rather disappointing: no shower gel or shampoo; just one roll of toilet paper (for a 4-nights stay); no paper towel; just a little bit of dishwasher soap left; no dishwasher tablets... Not enough plates and glasses and they had an induction stove, but most of the pots and pans were not induction ones so the stove would not sense them and would not turn on with them. Most of the kitchenware, utensils, and cutlery was not properly cleaned. A really important thing to keep in mind is that they charge a (pretty high) late check-in fee: "Free check-in until 5:00pm, and I can extend it till 7:00pm but after that, there is a late check-in fee. The fees are as follows: 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM: £60 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM: £80 12:00 AM onwards: £100"
