The fact that on arrival it was filthy dirty with the previous guests takeaway food and rubbish. None of the beds had been changed and to top it off in one for the rooms was some dirty towels with human waste on them. By far the most unsanitary place I’ve ever stayed. After contacting the owner about this they offered me to leave the premises or they send a cleaner round. Those were the two options and not interested in refunding me unless I left which wasn’t an option, due to nowhere else to stay. Once the cleaner arrived she was horrified by the state of the place and she then told us how this is not the first time this place had been rented out like this… it seems to be something she’s seen a lot. I would avoid this place at all costs!! Vile caravan and vile owners!!

The caravan was lovely and cosy

The caravan was clean and tidy, with towels and some basic tea/coffee, and washing up essentials provided. We had an issue with the oven door during our stay, Jon, who owns the Caravan was always very easy to contact, and the issue was fixed the next morning! Jon is a fantastic Host, and always available in case of any issues. The caravan site has everything you need for a great stay in Whitstable. It's located 10mins walk from the beach, has a small club house and swimming pool on site for food, drink and entertainment. The site is not too big, so easy enough to walk round with our dog, and get to the beach. Whitstable town was lovely! Great bars and restaurants about 10 minutes drive from the Caravan site. I would recommend the Tapas restaurant in town for fantastic food, but book ahead! It gets very busy! The Weatherspoons pub is an old cinema, and the interior was amazing! Well worth a visit! Whitstable Castle is a small site, but worth a short stroll around the grounds, and stopping for an amazing breakfast and cream tea! We also visited the Whitstable Fisherman's Market and huts. Well worth a walk around along the harbour and beach! Plus a pint and meal in the Old Neptune pub on the beach was fantastic! The Rose in Bloom pudding is also a 30 minute walk from the caravan site, which serves great food and has friendly atmosphere, plus a fantastic view from their garden out to sea!

The caravan is located in the central grass section on the site, and the site cuts the grass pretty much daily, so bring boots, or old trainers in the Autumn to avoid getting grass stuck to your shoes. The site does get a bit boggy in areas. The caravan itself is very good, with a large bedroom, unsuited and large lounge area. The double bed was a good size, but the mattress was very soft for us.

broken oven door (host informed), long wet grass all around the site made it hard to keep the caravan clean, shower was a bit tepid and the shower head wasn't secure, on its original setting the fridge froze all our food, and I think because we were in the off season, the promised supplies were lacking (eg shower gel, shampoo etc)

It was a nice cosy park home with everything one needed and not far from the beach. Was very very warm and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

More toilet roll could have been provided and the TV remote control needs to be changed as you had to press hard on the buttons before it worked. The bed was also very squeaky and the dustbin needs to be changed. I am also have a short let property and I always take on board the negative comments.

It was clean tidy and comfortable served its purpose . It was well equipped with nice touches like tea bags and salt and pepper and some toiletries already provided which was useful. Could use a tea towel though .

The key safe was a bit tough to open and the door would get a bit stuck and tough to lock . It’s a bit of a trek from the car to carry all your belongings to the caravan too. The sofa had a broken slat that made it dip a bit in the middle but other than that, can’t complain,
