Bowness Bay View

When we walked into the apartment my face actually hurt smiling! It was so unexpected after arriving because we thought we were in the wrong place from the photos on here, but it’s an absolute hidden gem! The apartment was lovely and warm on arrival and the views were to die for! The location could not be better, you are literally in the centre of Bowness with secure parking too without having to pay extra- this really does make the apartment good value for money! The apartment was spotless, all the cups and plates were gleaming and there’s a great selection of trays, pots and pans in the kitchen which is great once you realise the prices of eating out. There’s also a kettle, microwave and a toaster which was fab!

Could just do with the code for the bin yard, a hoover to use whilst there and it is quite high up so if we had taken the baby that could have been awkward for unpacking etc but that is literally petty, it did not really affect the quality of our stay, it’s more suggestions if we had to be picky!

Exceptional communication with Andrew before, during and after the stay. Location was fantastic! Gorgeous apartment, so clean and decorated to high standards. Great parking availability. Kind little treat left on arrival with very clean instructions.

Not that it could take away from the exceptional apartment but wish we would've known to bring our own towels.

The location is perfect, very close to the lake and to pubs and shops. Nicely decorated rooms. The host is nice and ready to help. Clean and warm inside.

The flat is on the top floor with no lifts and rather narrow stare case. That was not a problem for us, but people have to consider it. No wi-fi. The bathroom was not as thought after as the other rooms.

Central to everything, beds were comfy, host was east to deal with.

You can't get a better location in Bowness - just a fabulous spot for getting to all the various shops, restaurants and the lake itself. The view from the lounge window was incredible overlooking the autumn leaves, lake and hills beyond. The flat was spotlessly clean and made for an incredibly comfortable stay. The owners are so welcoming, accomodating and helpful and I really would recommend this bargain of a diamond in the centre of Bowness on Windermere. Very handily it backs onto the best pizza (Rastellis) and best breakfast (Mio Mondo) too!

We enjoyed a fantastic stay. The apartment had everything we needed and so clean. Lovely communication with Andrew. We would definitely stay here in the future.
