Llys y Dderwen - Oak Court

Very poor communication about the location of the property, not to mention that the property has a completely different name to the one advertised. Promised parking did not eventuate as the carpark was occupied with tradesman vans, and I was forced to use a parking station, which was inconvenient, and expensive.

Great location, minutes from the beach, 3 good sized rooms. Clean, comfortable beds and couch. Balcony was a good size. Hot tub was nice

Washing machine didn't work and leaked, but staff did attend quickly to sort. No Cork screw!. Hot Tub was nice, but the head cushions were a bit worn and the decking was a bit overgrown.

The location was great and clean and comfortable , quite well managed

Heating boiler wasn't keeping pressure but informed staff that it needed looking at and one of the windows wouldnt close fully

Excellent location, just a short walk into Aberystwyth centre. Secure parking at the rear of the property. Rooms were spacious with a large comfy bed. The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean. There is a large separate lounge and a well appointed kitchen with pretty much everything you could want supplied.

Location was ideal. Apartment was outstanding, clean, all facilities you needed for our weekend stay.

Only very small noticed, no hand towels but that was a minor inconvenience

It's hard to review this accommodation as we didn't actually end up staying in this apartment. An hour before we were due to arrive we received a phone call to say that the 3 bedroom apartment we booked wasn't available but that we could move into a 2 bed or to a 5 bed house 20mins outside of town. I explained I have two young children who don't sleep well so I booked the 3 bed so we could all get some sleep and enjoy our holiday but they said it wasn't possible to have the 3 bed (despite it still showing up as available online). The owner started to accuse of trying to sleep more people in the apartment when we just wanted the apartment that we had booked. It put us on a negative footing which isn't what you want at the start of a holiday. As it was so last minute we took the 2 bed (at a discount as it was cheaper) which I cannot fault, it was lovely.
