2-bed, 2-bath apartment living experience

The apartment on the outside doesnt look like much, but the moment you get inside you realize how nice the stay is going to be. The beds were comfortable and the space was just overall warm and welcoming. The kitchen was very accessible with tools and kitchenware included. I greatly appreciated the patience the property owners had with us on the first day. Overall I did greatly enjoyed my stay and wish I had booked a longer one.

The property owners are hard to converse with, I feel my own confusion just confused them more and unfortunately booking isnt specific with some labels on your bank statements. I had difficulty getting my security deposit back because it was labeled as "damage waiver" on my bank. I was confused by this and even asked bookings customer support for help. They reassured me it be refunded, but the property owners told me the opposite. I think somethings between the customer and the host needs to be less complicated so these confusions arent created in the future. Damage waiver does mean the same as a security deposit regardless of what the property owners claim. It lead to many frustrations, but it worked out in the end so I cant be too irritated by this. Other than that, i had no other issues.

It was a comfy apartment. Very close to the reserved parking spot. Centrally located and easy to get out and explore.

Needs more pillows on the beds and a couple of Blankets/quits if someone needed extra cover. The kitchen only had one fork but plenty of sooons and knifes. The cleaning crew could do a better job. There was dust bunnies on the door frames and wall in the hallway. The sofa cushions needed to be taken off and cleaned underneath. Found food (bagels) left by the last tenant in the kitchen cabinet.

I would not suggest the place for the elderly...or anyone with knee or balance issues...There are 10 steep stairs to get to the first level. It is also, not the quietest place in town. Seemed a bit rowdy out at the street... The people in the apartment complex...were very quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable. Linens clean and nice. Bathrooms nicely large with plenty of counter space. The kitchen is small but has what you need. The place was very clean and there were no signs of any bugs. The area is very close to the Aquarium and the River. Several nice small parks near the unit to walk pets. The area outside the unit, is not great for walking dogs, as you have mainly a steep slope to walk them on for a quick business...There is however, a nice driveway around the unit, and you can walk around, in a circle...there is a little bit of grass...but mainly landscaping... We really loved the balcony. Lots of character there. A nice tree has been growing next to it, and it gives a woodsy feel ..The dogs were able to step out on their own, because it is concrete, and the banister is high...no danger for them...that was really nice... We used door dash and delivery was fast as well... The TV has Roku...so you dont need to bring your firestick... The host stayed in contact very well, from beginning to end...We were able to take our fur babies with us, and they really enjoyed being there as well. There is a 100.00 extra fee you will have after the host contacts you. This is the pet cleaning fee. This is on top if the 75.00 cleaning fee.... but it was worth it to have them there with us ..
