The Apartment, 24 West End Terrace, Winchester

(a) very good location: a 10-minute walk to the city center, the same distance to the train station (b) the apartment is well-equipped and very clean; you will find everything you need: a coffee maker, toaster, iron, etc.

(a) it's noisy during rush hours, even though it's on a side street. Local drivers probably use it as a shortcut to avoid the city center. (b) the bathroom is very small (c) unusual check-out time (you have to leave the apartment by 9:00 AM), which was non-negotiable in our case

There is nothing to not like!

The location, close to central Winchester was excellent. I had a little trouble due to my wife's dependency on a wheelchair which made it somewhat difficult as the footpaths in Winchester are not always wheelchair friendly but that said we did manage to get to the Cathedral and other points of interest. The hosts were fantastic and could not have been more helpful. Would I stay there again? definitely yes.

Nice apartment, perfect and comfortable for a couple with all mod cons and nice touches. Perfect location for walk into winchester centre, cathedral, grand Hall etc. Plenty to see and do. Nice walks around city, St Catherine's hill etc. We left the car with provided permit, and walked everywhere. Very convenient. Nice distance to jog down to winchester parkrun. Would definitely recommend.

The location is good and the accommodation is comfortable and provides everything you need.

Somehow, there was loud traffic noise despite being on a side street. Could do with double glazed windows and door. Thus, it would also cut out the draught and save energy.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. It was great that we were able to park outside the property for free, and also that Winchester High Street was only a ten-minute stroll away. Communication from Emma and Bev was excellent throughout the booking process, and we really appreciated their flexibility.
