Clean, comfortable, nice furnishings, quick walk to town

Family next door were very noisy

Unit was very clean & spacious. Furnishings comfortable, especially nice king bed. Kitchen was well appointed, loved the homemade bread left for me. Extremely quiet location but very close to town centre & restaurants. Lovely views out to the lake.

Some kind of path to the back unit would be helpful for carrying bags & walking in the dark.

The studio apartment is spacious, and very comfortable. Lovely, new facilities. Great kitchen and bathroom. Quiet (other than the town alarm that went off at 1am!!)

It was difficult to find the reception area upon arrival - the instructions helped, but it could be more clearly marked. Once we found the reception, customer service was excellent. Parking is available next to the adjacent cottage, and the short walk to the cottage isn't very clear - although instructions with the booking do help.

No breakfast, self catering accommodation

The stay was simply comfortable and amazing. I recommend getting unit A because the car park is nearer to the entrance. We like how spacious and equipped the place is plus the view outside is amazing. It has a fully equipped kitchen and also washing machine with dryer that we used. The bed was really comfortable and soft. Definitely recommend this place!

Have to lug all my luggage over the grass as my unit didn't have a dedicated car park in front

Loved our stay in Lake Tekapo staying at Fivestone Suite. The little house was super modern, clean and fresh. We loved the beds and the bathroom was nice and clean with a heater and heated towel rack. Amazing views of the night sky from the property and the host was nice and friendly with picking up the key etc. Overall, we had a great stay in this accommodation and would recommend it to anybody looking for a high end suite around Lake Tekapo.

The outdoor bath didn't quite meet our expectations as it is quite exposed and the little fence around it needs to be fixed but other than that everything was perfect!

Outstanding suite with everything you need. Beautiful decor and plenty of light with 2 patio doors out to the deck. Easy walk to the shops and points of interest in the town.

Car parking was slightly awkward as it is a bit of a walk to the suite, but not a game changer as far as the rating goes.

Excellent location and comfortable apartment.

Access to property (AptB)was difficult as we were advised to avoid grass, the only reasonable access. The air conditioning remote had obscure location taking time to find. The phone line was down and email with key code arrived very late causing difficulty on arrival.

Nicely set out and presented studio apartment with kitchenette and shower room. Accurate photos on booking.com, though the written description incorrectly says that there is a bedroom and separate living room - it is all one space, as in the photos. Lovely gesture of bread and chocolates on arrival. Easy walking distance to restaurants and lake Tekapo. Ate at TLV restaurant which was superb.

Picture 1 shows a gravel pathway up to the studio, this is not a driveway. Parking is around the corner in front of the attached larger house and it is not easy to transport luggage from car to accommodation, particularly up this steep gravel pathway. Being attached to another house impacted on privacy, though the hosts had placed planters as nice dividers, we woke up to find the gentleman from next door sitting on the patio outside our bedroom window, smoking. The studio itself was spotless, but the outside bath was dirty with scum marks on the inside of the bath clearly from previous users. I recognise that it was just one multipurpose room, but the previous occupants had clearly been cooking with some Asian spices as the smell in the room was overpowering. OK in a kitchen, but terrible in a bedroom, and impacted on our enjoyment of the room.
