Having the cars parked in the front intruding on our view

Significantly overpriced for the actual accommodation on offer. The description of the property by the hosts on the site is misleading and deceptive as it is not an apartment, rather on entering you immediately step into a small bedroom containing two old children’s single beds. The total area, including en-suite, is less than the 20 sq metres advertised. There is no cutlery for the two dinner plates, only two spoons & bowls. No microwave or kettle, rather a broken coffee maker for hot water. The hosts require you to wash any crockery or cutlery used in the bathroom sink.Prior to arrival, we were asked by the hosts to provide them with an estimate of our time of arrival. The site states check in is between 3pm and 10pm yet guests in the other two so called apartments checked in around 2.15am, the headlights from both vehicles shining directly into the room as the hosts required them to park there. Had we not been woken by the headlights, we would have been woken by the accompanying noise of the occupants of the vehicles.

Good view

Not really a place to stay, access only through a patio door into a small bedroom with an en-suite. Privacy an issue as to get out the patio doors you had to raise the blinds.

Breathtaking views of the lake, very clean and comfortable. A beautiful place to stay at Lake Tekapo!!
