Please note the bedrooms in our two bedroom apartments are built into the eaves, so head height may be limited. Burnside Hotel, Apartments and Spa are currently undergoing minor refurbishments. Works are ongoing at the hotel from 8:00 until 17:00 Monday to Saturday. For further details please contact the reception team. Baby travel cots can be added to most apartments. Guests must contact the property before arrival to check that a baby travel cot can fit in the apartment booked. The cinema shows a children's films at 18.00. Clean, excellent facilities with everything you could wish for from a 5 star hotel.

Powercut on final night, but entirely out of control of staff, and managed really well with respect to communication and adaptation for breakfast to continental food!

Friendly, welcoming staff everywhere. Nice buffet breakfast. Excellent food & service in cocktail bar. Self catering apartment was spotlessly clean & beautifully furnished with all the essentials. Public areas & grounds are stunning.

Excellent 5 star property. Great room with breakfast. Very good location.

For the price , they should have at least given us bottled water. There was no drinking water in the room.

"Amazing stay"

Only booked for 1 night but wished I had stayed longer . Beautiful clean apartment and the facilities were outstanding. We had food in the pub and breakfast in the morning which was also excellent. Hoping to come back

Fantastic welcome with a glass of bubbly, lovely staff. The hotel is in a super position, great views off the bar balcony and only a couple of minutes into Bowness. .

Great location closer to lake Windermere. Lovely spa facilities and bar service by the pool.

Kids are not allowed into the Chinese restaurant which is very inconvenient for families with children. There was a charge to park the car which is unusual for a hotel /apartment to do!
