Lakes Hotel & Spa Apartments

The location was excellent. Loved the pool. The hotel itself was lovely and Mizimi restaurant had fabulous food.

We had a two bedroom apartment located above the bar. The bedrooms and one bathroom were tiny with really only enough room for the bed. No room for luggage in the bedrooms so we had to get changed in the living area.

Very comfy beds, great breakfast, really lovely staff. Handy to have the spa in the same building.

Apartment bathroom and stairways were very small/cramped. Mould in the bathroom. No surfaces to put anything on in the bathroom. No kitchen towels. Hole in the kitchen flooring. Could hear the pub hand dryer from the living room. No lamps in 2nd bedroom. Bit cramped around the breakfast tables. Disappointing for the money/"5 star".

The staff were so friendly, so helpful. Took photos for us to be able to remember our visit.

Rooms not having windows and very warm upstairs

I liked.the. hospitality, food was divine and people were very friendly. Facilities like the spa, pool etc were great.

It would maybe be advisable in summer months to have some sort of air con. Fans wernt enough really and because some rooms were very close to the pool I felt like the warmth came from there alot as it felt very stuffy and hot. The rooms could be advertised better in terms of how many adults fitting in to certain rooms. We changed due to being 3 adults and a baby but the other room, even though it was much better still felt small, especially in the bedrooms. Maybe better descriptions of who would accommodate to what apartment? Just advisory ? As it was hard to see from pictures how big the rooms actually were.

Great location and facilities Staff were brilliant

Excellent location 5 min walk to the lake. Nice to receive a complimentary drink (prosecco) on arrival. Lovely hotel ambience with the spa facilities as an added facilities at no additional cost. The apartment was small but just right for a short break, offering the flexibility to have self-catering or eating out.

The bathroom basin was a bit too small and there was no hanging hooks or shelves anywhere. Would be good to have a list have items already offered in the apartment (tea, coffee, milk, pots, pans, salt/pepper, fairy etc) So that guest know not to bring with them.

everything is cheap !!! from the hairdryer to the bathroom fixtures and fittings - no water in rooms - they are selling the product as 5 star however its not - just CHEAP period
