Lakes Hotel & Spa Apartments

Superb stay, clean, comfortable, spa was excellent, staff couldn't have been better and the breakfast was amazing

Would have been nice to have veggie sausages and £12 parking if you book through booking.com but free if you go to the hotel direct is really poor

This hotel was perfect, great breakfast, great location.

everything from the hotel /apartments to the staff who will go above and beyond to help you out of show you around,also give you tips on where to go,will definitely be visiting again

there’s nothing I didn’t like

The spa, the staff, the location, the decor and the food! All totally spot on. Everything we could ask for!

The only minor improvements could have been the design of the apartment. It was nice but the lounge area was very dark as the lights were warm white energy bulbs so bit of a dull and depressing room. Perhaps cool white bulbs would have made it feel brighter. Also no lamps in the sitting room or bedroom two which would have felt more homely. There were a few design floors too. Although I expected limited head height I did have to duck every time I went into the sitting room and bedroom two I felt the beds could have been placed in a better position as they had in directly under a metal beam so my daughters head was right under it. Also the tap in the kitchen area was not easily accessible as the window sill was in the way to turn it fully to the cold position. These are all small points which I feel may be helpful to be aware of but we had a lovely stay and the complex was perfect overall and the staff lovely!
