Le Grec Wine Tram Apartment #3

The apartment is spacious, quiet and well located. Very comfortable bed and great water pressure to the shower. Apartment was also cool even when outside temps hit 38o.

The whole apartment badly needs an upgrade, terrible sofa and high stools. No sauspans, one ! spoon (soup), no dessert spoons whatsoever.

Centrally located, very convenient for tram and town centre. Quiet, being set amongst mixed flats and businesses.

Property needs a good refurb and upgrade, especially kitchen section. Conversion of office premises, looks a bit diy.

Very clean spacious place with the simple things you need like a fridge, some cutlery, glasses, pans, wifi etc. The beds were big and very comfortable. The location is also perfect. Right by the wine tram and very close to the shopping centre and some restaurants. Value for money. I felt very safe during my stay. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely go back if I go back to Franschhoek.

The fact that it’s on the door step of the wine tram is a big win.

Excellent location for exploring Franschhoek on foot - and getting back to after a wine tram excursion :-). Apartment was clean and surprisingly spacious. Huge bed with great mattress and good linen & towels.

Access: It appear that the apartment's address comprises four units, with the apartment on the far left, which I initially missed despite our hostess having sent me a picture of the front door. So, use the far left of the four parking bays, with the apartment to the left of that. Kitchenette: Not really suitable for self-catering. But with all the restaurants in and around Franschhoek one we didn't mind. It had the basic crockery, cutlery, and equipment to see us through. Also no hot water tap in the sink, so boiling water in the kettle or fetching hot water from the bathroom way to go to do dishes. Shower: Open shower makes floor VERY messy and slippery. Just a side panel would be a great improvement.
