The price and the services

Location was so beautiful. It is right next to Pfingstegg cable car (one of the attraction) in Grindelwald. Nice mountain (Eiger) view from balcony.

Nothing to mention. It is expensive as every other place in Grindelwald.

Clean, had everything it needed

The view from the patio was exceptional. The location was fantastic, walkable to everything we needed. So happy with our host.

The view from the balcony when the weather is clear is spectacular. It’s a short walk into Grindlewald town centre. Great bus and train links for exploring. Comfortable place to stay.

It states there is a washer and dryer in the kitchen, it is actually a shared machine in the cellar of the whole building and costs CFH 2.50 per use. Also, after having paid a decent amount to stay there they ask you to rake out your own rubbish at the end of the stay and your recycling, these bins are not outside the chalet but off property. Not an acceptable request in my opinion.

We stayed in the last apartment in the row, and the balcony view was absolutely stunning! The location at Graben is very strategic—just a short distance to Grindelwald town, which was super convenient. One of the highlights was the cheese fondue set provided, allowing us to make our own fondue—such a fun and thoughtful touch! There’s also a washer and dryer available downstairs, which operates with the same key. It costs 1/2 CHF per 15 minutes, which we found reasonable.

As for the downsides, the sofa bed sagged in the middle and wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the bathroom could use some improvement—during showers, water tends to spill out onto the floor even with the curtain placed inside.
